The company completely scammed me. 3k extra for hidden fees. For being over even though we told the sales rep and multiple other people we had more stuff months before move date. Run 1500 fee just for adding more SQF- not counting 1000- for the sqf 200sq more never once offer in multiple calls to add more continuously told don’t worry we will give you estimate when we arrive. Worst customer service they are all in on the scam Erica the receptionist Who claims to be the top supervisor. Multiple requests to pull the calls as they say we have to charge the fee you didn’t tell us you had more stuff. Wait what 1 month before given deposit to Phillys 7+ phone calls advised her we had more stuff and we’re worried about going over. Only to be told over and over DONT worry we dont have hidden fees we will give you an estimate when we get there!! They lie and lie and run you in circles call the driver for a discount! The driver say I’ll take off 700.00 but you have to take care of me and my guys! They going to take 400.00 call Supervisor Fake Erica tell her the discount i was offered and how unacceptable this process is, didn’t care to bad. Asked multiple times i want my calls pulled because they say everything recorded right!! Erica finally says she will talk to her boss Calls me back hours after movers are done and says she is going to take $750.00 off because her boss understands and says he doesn’t need to pull calls. 1 week later demand payment email. Discount is not applied. Supervisor fake Erica tells me you already got the discount on the contract I said no that was the scam your driver put on there and stole money from your company!! Extremely rude would not connect me to a manager! Hung up one me had to call back 50 times to be belittled before finally agree to have a manager call me back! Manager Mona - also not a manger she’s the dispatcher who needs me to pay my demand to get it dispatched out atleast she let me talk only to then say well the fee is because you didn’t give us enough time or notice of having more stuff. Did you even listen Mona!!! Then I get an email from Mona does it say supervisor NOPE!!! I will make this my mission to take this as far as I can. I have reported the to the FMCSA- do you research go on this website and every tactic this company uses is listed right there Have you been offer a low price only to be hit with large fees! Yup! This company o lt cares about money!!! I’m a disabled veteran, so any military, police, fire. Don’t be trusting and make the mistake I did with this company!! Customer service is horrible it’s a scam from top to bottom. Maybe now I’ll get a call from a real supervisor

I moved allot every 6 month to a year due to my profession, and I have hired many moving companies throughout the years from crooks to liars in order to get my business so when I talk to most of these movers I know when they are trying to sale me a dream in order to obtain my business. I came across National Moving and Storage from a friend that recently moved with them, and she had a great experience from sales person to the crew that moved her. I was a little nervous using a moving company because of how crooked most of them can be, I will say that I am glad that my friend refer me to National Moving because their service is thus far the best I ever had, my relocation consultant Glen was very funny and made me feel comfortable unlike the other companies that kept calling me where the sales person sound as they were reading of a script. Glen was very personal with me and walked me through the entire process from start to end, his follow up calls after I secured the move with him surprised me because in the past I never had a sale person follow back up with me after they took my deposit, it was as if I no longer existed. National Moving never asked me for a deposit or any money upfront, only thing glen ask me for was my inventory and presto my move was booked. On the day of the pickup the movers were uniformed, clean, and very professional, I was shocked and couldn't beleave it being that I didn't even have to pay anything upfront. I found my movers that I will be using every year for my move thank god I don't have to go back online and get calls from dozen of movers that lie and want to get my business, National Moving and storage is my movers and Glen is my Guy. Thank you Glen for all your help the move went great, I will be talking to you soon to do another move.

National Moving & Storage lost some of my most important items (valuable dishes, cutlery, and a box of TV equipment). On top of that, they broke a one of a kind Danish Midcentury dresser, my TV Stand, and one of my dining room chairs. You can tell little care was given by the long-distance movers.

Thankfully I purchased third-party insurance but now must go through a long, drawn-out, claims process.

I've never spoken to a more apathetic company when calling about the items lost and destroyed. Do yourself a favor and use someone else.

Ashley was my sales person. She lied to me about everything from a grossly under estimating our weight and size on the items that were supposed to be moved, they have one truck and one trip and the latest date my items would arrive. Once the initial items were on the 26ft truck without Nationals name on it everything changed.. After the initial pick up we were told we only had 200 ft³ to the Max estimate she claimed we had total.. the funny part is a quarter of this stuff at the 1st stop had already been moved to the 2nd stop. We had to pay $1500 more after the second stop and 5 large items on the list were not even moved. My items were removed from a 26' truck on Tuesday sat in storage until Friday then placed on a 53' semi with at least 2 other stops being moved to Texas. Ashley and I spoke at length that the items would be delivered no later than Saturday. Mona from dispatch Called on Friday to ask if a 53' semi could get into my neighborhood and if it could not we would have to pay another price for all of our items to be moved off the semi into a smaller truck to be delivered. Another huge lie! Mona claimed when we heard from the truck driver he would be at our residence in 24 hours. The truck driver called Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. he did not show up at our residence untill 9:30 Sunday night. We had to get our realestate broker involved to find out that we could get a 53' truck to our residence. The truck driver claimed he could not get my items to my house which caused a huge arguement!! My husband got Mona on the phone who screamed at him and said that our stuff should not even be delivered this late at night and the truck driver was going to leave. I begged him to get the stuff off of his truck because my 10 year old exotic bird had been in a transport cage for 6 days and I thought it was going to die, I would of NEvER have done that taking him out of his cage for that long! I have messaged Ashley who seems to have disappeared..she called me "Love" while she was scaming me to get my business. I have even gone back onto the E mails to look at the disd frant estimates she had given me and magically they have all disappeared. I have spoke to Linda at Customer care in New Jersey and was told Margaret who is one of the top managers would be calling me back I have waited 2 weeks. National Moving & Storage is running a total bait and switch Company!

National Moving and storage made my move very easy and stress-free. Their customer service was very easy to work with and they kept me informed throughout the process.

All of my things arrived safely and quickly without any issues.
It was so much easier to let them take care of anything and not have to do the heavy lifting myself.

The experience with them was definitely worth it, and I recommend it to anyone who is looking to move long distance.

Moving is super stressful and I'm glad that I came across this company. I'm skeptical of choosing certain moving companies because of the experience I had in the past dealing with unprofessionalism. On my last move I had a sentimental item that ended up being broken during the process. Ever since then, going with moving companies gave a bad taste in my mouth.

Years later, I was in desperate need of help yet again. From start to finish they made the process seamless. The movers are super professional and they are also very informative over the phone prior to working with them. They aren't pushy for you to go with their services which is a plus. Thanks guys for making this process smooth.

We have never used a moving company before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I needn't have worried. National Moving made the process easy and hassle-free. They were professional in all stages of our move and worth the expense. I was pleased with the care that they took with our belongings and the professionalism of their employees. Do yourself a favor and give them a call for your move! It is so nice not having to do the hard work yourself and you can have peace of mind that your belongings are safe and secure with them.

National Moving & Storage was a life saver! We just moved cross country and I can't think of a better company to leave with my valuables. Their phone service was top notch and their employees were polite and respectful. They had no problem answering any question I threw at them. When they came to our home, I was surprised at their respect for our belongings. I've never had nothing break when we move, but National Moving & Storage did it. It was deeply gratifying to watch as they unpacked my home and set it up just the way I wanted it. For a Navy family who moves constantly, its so wonderful to find a company that goes above and beyond taking care of all of our needs.

Big moves are a hassle and for someone as adventurous as I am, I know I’ll have many to come in my young career. I haven’t been back to my home state of Colorado in over 4 years and wanted to change that. My only concern was finding a reliable, simplistic, and affordable service that can haul all my belongings from New York to Colorado. A friend that recently moved to the city recommended National Moving & Storage. She exclaimed that the service answered all my needs and she had a great experience with her move from Michigan to New York. I challenged that claim and she was right! The representatives alleviated my concerns and the movers were humbling and reliable. They maintained contact with me to ensure that everything was on time and that all my belongings were being handled carefully. An affordable service also turned out to be a reliable service!

Everything started out great with this company! They come across as compassionate and caring about every detail of your move. I was guaranteed a delivery date by my "relocation specialist". However the day before my stuff was supposed to be picked up, I was called and told that they could no longer guarantee my delivery date since they were "running behind". I was told my move could be delivered up to 7 business days after my guaranteed date.

Every time I call, I get a different reason why they cannot deliver on time. Everything I was told keeps changing, along with their "guarantees". When you call, you are sent in circles trying to get someone to talk to you. I have been put on hold by several employees for up to 30 min at the time in hopes you will just hang up.

I was quoted a certain price for my move, understanding these things are usually a little bit more. My relocation specialist "updated" my moving quote at the last minute, stating he was only adding a few things. It turns out he was taking a lot of items off and not adding items I told him to add. This resulted in over a $500 "overage fee" and double the price I was quoted.

As someone who has moved more stuff than I have now 4 times, this is well over $1500 than I have every paid for a move. I have never had issues with a move until using this company.

I called myself doing my research on the company, however after looking into matters more I was able to discover most of the good reviews that this company got are FAKE. All of the profile hatched to the good reviews are made just before the review was done, they are the only company they ever reviewed, and all of the pictures in the profile are professional head shots.

Do not use this company if you value your belongings and your money!! This is nothing but a scam!

I personally had a good experience with National Moving moving from Tennessee to northern Kentucky. I can't imagine having to make multiple trips with all that stuff and trusting myself or friends to pack it and move it safely. Believe me, I've seen enough to know it wasn't worth the hastle. Fortunately, I made the wise decision to look for professional help and National made it affordable. They had good customer service and they communicated well with me, someone who asked a lot of questions beforehand if a lot of companies. In the end the two things that swayed me was the fact that I felt comfortable trusting them with my entire life and the fair and affordable price. The peace of mind I had not worrying (too much) was worth every dime. I'd definitely use them again if the need ever arises.

I was excited to book w/this company after looking at several other options. They were not the least nor the most expensive quote I received and their stated policies fit with my moving needs and, frankly, my moving fears (being told one thing but later getting rooked on the back side of a move). Within just less than 24 hrs of my scheduled pick-up, I received an urgent VM instructing me to call them. I did and was told they "had no available trucks for [my] scheduled pick-up" the following day. I was not told the issue was due to fleet breakdowns, simply that no truck was available for my month+ scheduled move. I didn't get a definitive answer that my pick-up was scraped until 3 phone calls in 5 hours from me (no promised call backs from them). I had to reschedule my move--not easy or wanted.

When my new pick-up date arrived, I still had difficulty getting phone confirmation (no promised call back again) that my pick-up was going to happen. When my pick-up did take place, I was informed later that day by the move crew driver that my already packed-but-not-boxed belongings required 36 boxes, tape, and other supplies in addition to more truck space than estimated to the tune of 45% cost increase OVER my original estimated move cost despite the driver referring to mine as a "small move". Less than 24 hrs after being told my move cost will now be 45% over my quoted amount, I've now received a phone call *and* an e-mail from an individual I've had zero contact with prior to today (sure--now they'll call me) and demanding payment per their policies, of course, for about a third of the overage costs or I will have to pay a daily $25 penalty fee while my belongings are essentially held hostage. Nightmare. Run. Run away from doing business with this company. Run far, run fast. Learn from my mistakes.

Do not use this moving company. They quoted me one price and at pick up the price soared. Then when it came time for delivery they wanted me to pay thousands. After fighting them over it, they dropped the price down to 865 dollars total payment for delivery, which was great, except that on delivery day, everything was delivered except my snap on tool box loaded with tools, which is valued at close to 10 grand with tools included. It was on the pick up inventory list but disappeared magically upon delivery. Funny how that works, they drop the price to " help me out" and now I'm out 10 grand in tools and snap on box on no one there will answer the phone.

These people are absolute rape artists. They give you an estimate and then its about 1/3 or 1/2 of what the actual cost is. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND I WILL DETER AS MANY PEOPLE AS I CAN FROM USING THEM.

The movers completely flooded my house and the foreman basically lied on a report. The company is acting like they are not liable at all. What an awful way to ruin someones house in the amount of $3500.00 and not take ownership of it all. Not even offer to pay for half. The offered nothing. HOW THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT AT NIGHT, I WILL NEVER KNOW

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. ITS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH AND THAT IS WHY ARE NOT BBB ACCREDITED.

Could not be more disappointed with this company and how they handle business. I don't usually write reviews for things online, but I feel this one could help someone avoid getting scammed by this company.
My husband and I were shopping around online for good moving companies that would handle our stuff carefully while not being extremely expensive. This was not our first rodeo with moving across country, but was out first time going about finding a company on our own.
We were initially excited about our quote of $1,600 to move our 2 bedroom apartment from Chicago to South Carolina, and we event sent them the photos that they asked for of our stuff to estimate the accurate square footage of what would be used on the truck. Well, when the movers showed up on moving day, there were 4 people who quickly loaded all of our stuff onto a truck, and told us after the fact that it would be $4500. We were completely taken of guard by the total, but tipped them well for their work. They even tried to haggle a better tip if they cut off some of the moving cost, which seemed really sketchy.
It took about a week and half for our stuff to arrive, which was on schedule. However we got a call from the company saying that they we owed an additional amount or they were going to hold our items on the truck "and there's always the option to come get it ourselves". WHAT! This company had ONE job, and terrible customer service. We had to pay this amount in order for us to get our items..not to mention they showed up and hour late, handed me a razor and put ME to work saying "don't cut yourself". I had to then unwrap all their blankets from our furniture to give back to them. That was supposed to be done by THEM as we were told originally. Also to be noted, there was only one guy who showed up, and the other was asleep in the truck apparently. Which is why I had to do the work for them. The WORST part is, 3 of our expensive large pieces of furniture showed up completely demolished. They won't event give us enough to compensate for even half of what ONE of these pieces cost. Offered us a total of $96 total..what a RIP OFF. All of our boxes written FRAGILE were completely smashed, almost as if it were on purpose.
Stay far away from this company. I will never use them again, and didn't want to end up writing a bad review, but then again they offered terrible customer service and showed no consideration for our personal items. They are out to take people's money. Now we are out thousands of dollars and cost of our furniture.

I used national moving in storage for my upcoming move to New Mexico I was very nervous at 1 point because of all the moving Horace that I read online national moving and storage it made my move very easy and stress free they are an angel sent by God if you want a stress free move I recommend national moving and storage are 100% honest and with integrity from their sales to the crew that picked up my items great job national I will be using you again on in upcoming move a for my daughter.

In the process of moving I was searching for a mover that was reasonably priced but also provided exceptional customer service, this company provided just that! From the moment I obtained a quote from them to final drop off everything was phenomenal. The customer service was impeccable, their employees were eager to assist in anyway that would make my experience more enjoyable. I can honestly say after moving across country with many different companies, National Moving took a great amount of stress out of the process. Should I move long distance again I will certainly be a returning customer. I recommend them to any and everyone looking for a smooth and as stress-free moving experience as possible!

I find moving to be a very stressful process and as a result I always want to find movers who are highly responsible that I won't have to worry about. Thankfully National Moving was a company I became aware of just in time for my cross-country move, and they fit the bill! Reliable, friendly, efficient, and at the end of the day an amazing value! I came from Chicago to Orlando, and it was my first cross-country move, but National Moving didn't run into any problems! Seriously, when they got to my new house and we got a chance to unpack, it felt like a dream come true. I may not be moving a long distance again anytime soon, but I have a lot of friends who move around the country a lot for work, and I keep National Moving in my back pocket so I can recommend them to people.

I will never use this company anymore. My first contact was awesome. The agent was really nice and helpful and the price was unbeatable, that should be a sign of alert for me. It was when my belongings where delivered that the nightmare started. Numerous boxes smashed, items broken, badly scratched, they managed to break even my new TV which they packed using only cardboard without protection at all and I paid separately for the packing, absolutely a nightmare. Getting customer service was another horror, they were very rude besides it took them 3 months to send me a check of $160 and my loss was in the thousands. It may have worked for others but not for me and I don’t recommend this company.
